Lima Central Catholic School has dedicated over 13 acres of campus expansion area to establish a multi-staged vegetation detention and filtration wetland system to aid in storm water control and pollutant discharge mitigation from over 180 acres of existing urban environment. This wetland project has included water quality monitoring stations, hiking trails, and environmental education interpretive sites
