As a consultant to Ellerbe Beckett Architects, Patrick J. Beam assisted the design for the over-all site design for the 130 million dollar expansion to the St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima. New parking lots, drives, pedestrian walkways and arrival court provide a safe, attractive and clearly defined arrival experience. A unique rooftop garden, beautifully landscaped building surroundings, a jogging trail which winds past beautifully landscaped mounds and a meandering pond in a broad, park-like open space will not only enhance the image of St. Rita’s Medical Center as a campus, but also provide a pleasant, healthy and comfortable environment for patients, employees, visitors and neighbors to enjoy.
