Patrick J. Beam designed and executed this project as a Principal of Bassett Associates.

Beam was commissioned to create an unobtrusive amphitheater facility nestled into the historic hollow, to serve as the setting for graduations, theater performances, musical entertainment and outdoor instruction. Hanley Hollow is the primary reception/gathering area located on the former site of two obsolete dormitories. The demolition was carefully controlled to preserve existing mature trees in the center of the courtyard of the dorms. While maintaining the trees on the perimeter hillside. Beam prepared the site analysis, demolition recommendation and final site plans for a practice football/soccer field on the site of a former elementary school and abandoned houses.

Bassett Associates has exhibited a keen sense of identifying goals and creating sensitive, functional and exonomically feasible solutions...I feel confident in recommending Bassett Associates for provideing campus development design services.
